US Alumni Network in Tajikistan(USANT)
USANT joins together the more than 7,000 alumni of U.S. government-funded and U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs, supports and strengthens their bonds with each other, and provides opportunities to work together to solve social and economic issues in Tajikistan through mentorship, innovative capacity building programs, the implementation of joint projects, and sharing of experiences, expertise, resources, and information.
Members can participate in training sessions, conferences, community service events, and have the opportunity to apply for small grants to implement projects in their communities. USANT has four regional chapters and operates in the Dushanbe/DRS, Khatlon, Sughd, and GBAO regions of Tajikistan.
USANT was created in 2019 by the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan, with funding provided by the U.S. Government and implemented by the National Association of Business Women of Tajikistan (NABWT) 2019-2023. American Councils has implemented USANT since October 2023.
